The mosquitos are biting again. And there was some weird bug in the house earlier that popped. That's like... how he moved. He popped with a sound. And bit me. While popping. Or maybe that was just popping and it snapped my finger. But he got under the bookshelf so he's... probably still in here somewhere.
At least there haven't been any more diablitos in my shower. |

In other news, new mouse and keyboard. I cut out part of the floor in my room again. It was for a good cause. It seems to be working.
In other other news, I'm not going into the hallway bathroom again until the crack in the wall is plugged, the room is bombed, and every inch of it has been sanitized and cleared. Maybe not in that order, exactly.
Yes, all of that is absolutely necessary. And the door has been barricaded until then. It's a shame that my brush is in there. Never mind that I have a million and one other brushes elsewhere. I just don't know where they are at the moment.
Anyway. Apart from the explosion of my ridiculous phobia, today went rather well. :D

As an aside, what is memorial day, anyway? We already have veteran's day. And some other deal in septiembre. Or is that one veteran's day? No, that's not it.
Do we have two memorial days?
Okay I just checked the calendar. It's Labor Day. But before that we had a patriot day. Which sounds like Veteran's day reworded. And earlier this month there was Holocaust rememberance day. If they're referring to the whole Hitler thing, that didn't even happen here. And yet they won't acknowledge anyone else's independence day. Although that would be a really filled up calendar. So it's about convenience or relevance? I'm not sure. Probably both.
In any case, have a good Memorial Day. Whatever it's for. |

Today's foto is actually just one of the things I've been up to and actually almost kind of finished recently. Despite the fact that it isn't even a foto.
Another ukiyoeish thing. I didn't clean up the scan because i'm lazy and think that you should all have realized that by now. *shot for blunt rudeness*
Paid more attention to what was going on in the kimono this time, though, inexplicably. It started out pretty, I swear. It was those ugly mardi gras ribbons that ruined it. And scribbled a balloon flower, too. I like those flowers. They're neat. :D *will take a picture of some later*
Incidentally, why and/or how do some of them end up like stars and some only with four [petals] on the same plant? Anyone know? Because that has intrigued us for a few days while. : |

Radio insists on playing 'I'll be missing you' a lot lately. That song has been played at so many funerals. At least it used to be. I don't know if they still do that, but they probably do. *has no plans to go to another funeral*
...Except maybe mine. It'd be kind of awkward if I wasn't there for that. And kind of awesome, now that I think of it.
